This complete set combines four high-performance HUXPOWER® HPTB500 double-glass solar modules with a total of 2,000 Wp, the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro with 2,688 Wh storage capacity and the proven first-generation three-phase Anker SOLIX Smart Meter.

The four bifacial 500 W modules use modern N-type cell technology and feature light-permeable gaps between the solar cells. Despite the dark cell design, this creates a transparent look between the cells. The active rear side enables additional energy harvesting when light reaches behind or beneath the modules.

The Solarbank 3 combines inverter, battery storage and intelligent system control in one device. Four independent MPPT inputs allow separate power optimisation of the four solar modules. The connected smart meter records the household's current energy flow and enables demand-based charging and discharging control via the Anker app.

Together, the four HUXPOWER® HPTB500 modules deliver an installed rated PV output of 2,000 Wp. Each module achieves 500 W under standard test conditions and a module efficiency of 22.48 %. The positive power tolerance of 0 to +5 W ensures that the delivered output is never below the stated rated power.

In addition to direct irradiation on the front, the bifacial cell design can also use reflected or rear-incident light. The actual additional yield depends on mounting height, ground surface, rear-side shading and the reflectivity of the surroundings.

The Anker SOLIX Smart Meter is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail in the fuse box or distribution board. It measures voltage and current on the three phases and transmits the resulting power data to the connected Anker SOLIX system. This allows the Solarbank to align its charging and discharging power with actual household consumption.

According to the operating manual, the smart meter stores measurement data for at least 60 days at a time resolution of one minute. Wi-Fi is used for system communication, while Bluetooth can be used for pairing and setup. The operating manual also shows an RS485 interface on the device.

Solar cable extensions, module brackets, mounting systems and any electrical installation material that may be required are not included. The HUXPOWER modules each come with factory-fitted connection cables approximately 1.2 m long. Before installation, you must therefore check whether the existing module cables reach the four PV inputs of the Solarbank.

The smart meter is connected within the electrical distribution system. Installation, wiring and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The operating manual explicitly warns of the risk of electric shock and requires the connections to be de-energised before work.

🟩Tip from the energy pro

Where possible, the four modules should be distributed individually across the four MPPT inputs. This allows the Solarbank to control each module independently and better compensate for differences in orientation, time of day or partial shading.

The 2,000 Wp module output ensures a strong energy supply even in the morning, in the evening and in cloudy weather.

For automatic self-consumption control, the smart meter's three current transformers must be assigned to the correct phases and mounted in the intended current direction. A swapped phase or an incorrectly oriented current transformer can misrepresent grid consumption and feed-in, impairing the Solarbank's control.
