Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about orders, delivery, VAT, balcony power plants and installation.

General

How do I dispose of old batteries and devices?
Batteries and electrical devices must not go in household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge to us (warehouse Moers) or to municipal collection points; old electrical devices can be handed in at municipal recycling centres. Please tape the terminals of lithium batteries and remove batteries from devices where possible. Details are on our Battery Act and WEEE pages.
Where can I find datasheets and technical details?
Key specifications are listed on each product page, and datasheets are attached where available. If you need a specific document, installation manual or compatibility advice (e.g. which battery fits your inverter), just contact us — our team is happy to help.

Delivery

How long does delivery take?
Most items ship within 5–12 working days within Germany. The expected delivery time is shown on every product page. Solar modules and large batteries travel on pallets by freight forwarder; the driver will contact you to arrange delivery. Small parts are sent as parcels.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated per product group: solar modules from €85 per order (pallet delivery), batteries up to 40 kg from €7.90 and over 40 kg from €70, long goods such as mounting rails €250, other items up to 20 kg €7.90 and 20–40 kg €10. Pickup from one of our warehouses is free. The exact amount is shown in the cart before you order.
Do you ship outside Germany?
Yes — we deliver to Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Poland, the Czech Republic and Denmark for a small surcharge per order. Business customers with a valid EU VAT ID can buy with reverse charge (0 % VAT). For other countries, please ask for a quote.
Can I pick up my order myself?
Yes, and it's free. Choose "Pickup" at checkout and select one of our warehouses: Moers (central warehouse), Hanau, Ellweiler/Birkenfeld, Berlin/Werneuchen or Schweinfurt. Each product page shows where the item is available. Please wait for our "ready for pickup" message and bring your order number. Some locations do not accept cash.

Payment

Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay in advance by bank transfer and get a 2 % discount. Depending on availability, card payment and other online methods are offered at checkout. Registered business customers can buy on invoice after approval. Financing is available on request.
How does the 2 % prepayment discount work?
Choose "Prepayment (bank transfer)" at checkout — the 2 % discount is deducted from the order total immediately. You'll receive our bank details and your order number by email. As soon as the payment arrives, we ship your order or prepare it for pickup.
Can I finance my solar system?
Yes. For complete systems and larger orders we arrange financing through partner banks. Tell us the planned system size in your quote request and we'll send you an offer with financing options. State funding programmes (e.g. KfW loans) can often be combined.

0 % VAT

Why are prices shown with 0 % VAT?
Since 1 January 2023, German law (§ 12 (3) UStG) applies a 0 % VAT rate to the supply of solar modules, inverters, battery storage and essential components to the operator of a PV system installed on or near a private home, apartment or certain public buildings. This is assumed for systems up to 30 kWp. Products that don't qualify — such as wallboxes, heat pumps or portable power stations — always include 19 % VAT. Use the switch in the header to see prices including 19 % VAT.
Who is entitled to the 0 % VAT rate?
The 0 % rate applies if you are the operator of the PV system and it is installed on or near a residential building (or a qualifying public/non-profit building). At checkout you confirm this with a short declaration. Companies that buy for resale or for commercial buildings pay 19 % VAT and can usually reclaim it as input tax.

Balcony power plants

What are the rules for an 800 W balcony power plant in Germany?
Since Solarpaket I (May 2024), plug-in solar devices may feed in up to 800 VA via the inverter, with up to 2,000 Wp of module power. You only need to register the system in the Federal Network Agency's Marktstammdatenregister — a separate notification to your grid operator is no longer required. Connection via a standard Schuko plug is tolerated; a Wieland plug is optional. Tenants and condominium owners have a legal right to install one (consent may only be refused for good reason).

Installation

Do you offer turnkey installation?
Yes — make your own power and we'll do the rest. Together with our partner installers we plan your system, handle registration with the grid operator, mount and commission it, and help with financing. Send us a quote request with a few details about your roof and consumption, and we'll get back to you.

Returns & warranty

What warranty do I get?
You always have the statutory 2-year warranty rights against us. In addition, most manufacturers give their own guarantees — for solar modules typically long product and performance guarantees, for inverters and batteries usually 5–10 years or more. The exact terms are in the manufacturer's datasheet and guarantee conditions.
Can I return my order?
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day they receive the goods. Simply tell us clearly (e.g. by email) or use the model withdrawal form. Please return the goods in their original packaging where possible. Details, including who pays the return costs, are in our withdrawal policy.
What should I do if goods arrive damaged or faulty?
Please check pallet deliveries in the driver's presence and note any visible transport damage on the delivery note. Take photos and report the damage or defect as soon as possible via our complaints form, including your order number, photos and — for devices — the serial number. We'll take care of a replacement or repair quickly.

Business customers

Can businesses buy on invoice?
Yes. Installers, electricians and other businesses can register as B2B customers. After we've verified your company details, you can order on invoice and receive project prices for larger quantities. Register via the B2B page or contact our sales team.
How do I register as a B2B customer?
Fill in the B2B form with your company name, VAT ID and contact details and, if available, a trade registration or proof of your business. We usually confirm within one or two working days and set up your terms — invoice purchase, volume prices and dedicated support.
